About the Role

We are seeking a talented and creative Eyewear Designer to join our team in Canada. As an Eyewear Designer, you will be responsible for designing stylish, innovative, and high-quality eyewear that aligns with our brand’s vision and market trends. You will work closely with product development teams, manufacturers, and marketing professionals to create eyewear that combines fashion, functionality, and comfort.

Key Responsibilities
 • Design Development: Create original eyewear designs, including sunglasses and optical frames, that align with brand identity and market demand.
 • Trend Research: Analyze global fashion trends, materials, colors, and consumer preferences to develop innovative eyewear collections.
 • Material & Technology Integration: Collaborate with suppliers and engineers to select high-quality materials and incorporate the latest technology in eyewear production.
 • Prototype Development: Work with manufacturers to develop prototypes, test designs, and refine products before mass production.
 • Technical Drawings: Create detailed technical sketches and 3D models for production specifications.
 • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure designs align with branding and customer expectations.
 • Quality Control: Ensure that final products meet design, durability, and safety standards.

Requirements
 • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Fashion Design, Product Design, or a related field.
 • Proven experience in eyewear, fashion accessories, or product design.
 • Strong knowledge of materials, lens technology, and eyewear construction.
 • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Rhino, or SolidWorks.
 • Excellent hand-drawing and 3D rendering skills.
 • Strong understanding of fashion trends and consumer behavior.
 • Attention to detail and a passion for innovative design.
 • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
 • Strong communication skills in English (French is a plus).
